Coordinating physician

The coordinating physician has supervisory responsibility over the general scientific activities carried out in the CIC. He organizes and manages, on a strategic level, the medical activities performed.

Coordinating physician delegate

The coordinating physician delegate is in charge of the daily activities carried out in the CIC and the presentation of projects to the Technical Committee. He organizes the participation of a reporter and outside experts. He also provides medical consultations.

Research study nurse

The research nurse assists the investigators in the study, carries out the usual or specialized investigation procedures and biological sampling procedures and storage. She also manages the schedule of patient’s visits and organizes their transportation.

Biostatistician

The biostatisticians provide methodological support, and participate in the drafting of protocols and in statistical analysis of results and publications, in addition to their own research projects.

Data Manager

The data-manager is responsible for the management, analysis and treatment of data. He also provides the statistical data.

Clinical Research Assistant

The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) ensures the accurately calibrated progress of trials, from implementation to completion, and data quality regarding regulations (good clinical practice, administrative and logistical procedures, data collection and monitoring of patients). The CRA also provides logistical support and assistance to investigators.

Administrative Manager

The administrative manager is in charge of planning meetings and welcoming investigators. The administrative manager is also responsible for reporting the activities of the center and is the referent for logistical issues.

Administrative secretary

The administrative secretary is responsible of office work, arranging meetings as well as welcoming patients enrolled in studies, collaborators and partners at the research center.

Quality manager

The quality manager is in charge of the quality management in compliance with regulations, establishes and updates all procedures and guidelines under the supervision of the coordinating physician. Staff training to quality procedures is provided by the quality manager.

Research technician

The research technician manages reception, preparation, storage and disposal of the biological samples in the research center’s Biobank, in agreement with the Department of Research of the University Hospital.

Research engineer

The research engineer is in charge of the preparation and the storage of specific biological samples, as cell banking, in the research center’s Biobank. The research engineer enhances translational research programs in collaboration with the local fundamental research units.

Support services officer

The support services team is managed by the health manager. Its role is to ensure the cleaning of the equipment including laundry service, and the cleaning of all areas of the research center. The support services officers also provide assistance in the care of patients (rooms, meals).
